Liam Mullaney

Liam Mullaney, Managing Director, Sage Ireland

Before being appointed as Managing Director of Sage Ireland, Liam was Managing Director of Siemens Computer Systems in the UK. Prior to this position with Siemens Computer Systems UK, Liam spent three years working as a strategic management consultant for Siemens Computer Systems in Germany during which time he executed a number of key projects across Europe. Liam is also known for establishing the Siemens Nixdorf PC Business Centre in Ireland in 1993 which, by 1996 held 10% market share and ranked as the number three supplier in Ireland.

Brian McIntyre

Brian McIntyre, Head of R&D, Sage Ireland

Brian McIntyre is the Head of Research & Development at Sage Ireland with responsibility for leading the development teams for a number of Sage products. Brian is also responsible for the Accountants Sales channel and the Professional Services team. Prior to taking up this position, Brian was Product Development Manager with Sage Ireland and prior to that he was Technical Director with Apex Software. Brian holds IT and business qualifications from Trinity College, Dublin and the College of Commerce, Dublin.

Dave Miller

Dave Miller, Head of Finance, Sage Ireland

Dave Miller has been appointed Head of Finance at Sage Ireland with responsibility for all aspects of the financial, accounting, tax and logistics matters for Sage’s business management software and services sales to SMEs in Ireland. Dave comes to Sage after spending four years providing financial management advice to a number of businesses in the SME sector. Prior to that, Dave was Financial Controller for EMEA and APAC at Iona Technologies plc. Dave has also held senior management positions with the Smurfit Kappa Group and with Thorn EMI. Dave is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and spent ten years with Ernst & Young in Dublin and in a number of its US offices as a Senior Audit Manager and Director of Graduate Recruitment. He holds a Batchelor of Accounting and Finance from DCU.

Maurice Whelan

Maurice Whelan, Head of Customer Services, Sage Ireland

Maurice Whelan is Head of Customer Services at Sage Ireland with responsibility for the operational and strategic function of the Customer Services Division.

Prior to joining Sage, Maurice was General Manager, Customer Service and Individual Business with VHI Healthcare. He holdsqualifications in Marketing, Hospital and Health Service Administration, and has completed the Advance Management Program (AMP) in Insead Paris. He is currently studying his Bachelors of Science in Psychotherapy.

Maurice is a Fellow of the Contact Centre Management Association of Ireland (CCMA) and is currently Vice-Chair of CCMA. He is also past Vice President of ECCCO (The European Confederation of Contact Centre Organisations).

David O'Reilly

David O'Reilly, Head of Product Marketing, Sage Ireland

David O'Reilly is the Head of Product Marketing at Sage Ireland with responsibility for leading the product and marketing plans for all Sage Ireland products. David is also responsible for HR, Sage Pay sales division and internal training teams.

Prior to taking up this position, David worked for seven years for Wolseley PLC on the Wolseley Ireland management team. David holds a Bachelor in Business Studies Degree from Dundalk Institute of Technology and a Masters Degree in Business Studies from the Michael Smurfit Business School University College Dublin
