Success At The Dublin Web Summit
By Beatrice Whelan, Social Media and Content Specialist at Sage

We had an amazing two days at the Dublin Web Summit on the 17th and 18th October. We were exhibiting at the Web Summit to promote Sage One and Sage CRM and we had a phenomenal interest in both products.

Sage Commercial Product Manager, Simon Bell was interviewed at the Web Summit by Paul O’Mahony. You can listen to the interview in the podcast below. Simon talks about Sage One and gives some great advice about how small businesses can build their brand, but inevitably the conversation swayed towards the cupcakes.
It was great to meet business owners and current customers of Sage that dropped by to say hello. Among the many people that dropped by our stand was Krishna De of Biz Growth Media and Lorraine Carter of Persona Branding & Design.

QED are hosting a morning session on Monday 1st October called Working in a Digital Age in the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport. The aim of this round table workshop is to energise and invigorate SME businesses about the tools and opportunities in the online area. This is a half day event that will highlight to participants the way in which we do business has changed. The way in which consumers work, think, communicate, socialise and do business in the digital space has changed the way in which SME’s can do business.
The session will be run in the format of a round table with representatives from Apple, Realex, LinkedIn, Facebook and Sage available to answer questions to those attending.
