Sage Ireland Launches Sage In The Cloud

Sage CloudIreland’s leading business management software company, Sage Ireland, launches Sage in the Cloud with a stunt on South King St, Dublin 2 at 11am. The launch will bring the concept of the cloud to life through a quirky and innovative device, which will create floating cloud shapes using a foam printer – a first for Ireland!

For the past 30 years, Sage has supported the business software industry and, in the last number of years, provided hosted online software solutions for a range of customers. With the Sage in the Cloud campaign, Sage is encouraging business owners across Ireland to experience the cloud for themselves by exploring free trials on www.sagecloud.ie.

An evolution of what Sage Ireland has been doing for years, Sage’s approach to the cloud is simple – Sage will work with businesses to offer the best online software solution, making it easier for customers to do what they do best, run their business. By dispelling the jargon and confusion around the word cloud and its meaning, Sage will facilitate business owners in understanding the full extent of the term and how it can benefit Irish businesses in a practical way.

Sage identified the potential of cloud from an early stage. And recently, it launched Sage One Accounts, a light and agile cloud based system for start-ups, small and micro business. Sage One Payroll followed and is the only cloud based payroll solution developed in Ireland. Other products in the Sage Cloud line up include Sage CRM which is easy to set up and offers businesses the opportunity to manage their customers and prospects, while Sage Coretime is a time, project management and expense solution. Sage PeopleLink is a perfect example of a hybrid cloud solution using Sage Micropay on premise and Sage Peoplelink in the Cloud, enabling employees to view their payslips, holidays and more online, while managers get a greater grasp on staffing needs and issues. In addition to this, Sage will launch Sage 50 Online in the coming months, the tried and trusted solution for bigger businesses.

Speaking at the launch, Liam Mullaney, CEO of Sage Ireland and Sage Technologies said ‘‘When it comes to cloud software, Sage is well ahead of the game.  For us at Sage, we see it simply as the next step and we are ready to help businesses understand what it means for them.  Today is about Sage helping businesses understand cloud and we are inviting people to trial our software and experience the cloud and what it could mean for their business.  And of course we will continue to serve our on premise / desktop customers while evolving in the cloud and offering hybrid solutions”.
