Terms & Conditions of Supply for ACT!
Sage ACT! is a powerful and feature-rich Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. In order to maximise the potential of the software it is essential that appropriate care and expertise is applied during the implementation of your new system. For this reason, Sage Ireland maintains a policy of promoting the use of trained implementation specialists for all ACT! installations.
This document outlines this policy and should be referenced in conjunction with the general Sage Ireland Terms and Conditions of Supply and the ACT! Software License Agreement both outlined on www.sage.ie/legal.
ACT! Terms and Conditions of Supply
Purchases direct from Sage Ireland
If you would like to purchase your ACT! software directly from Sage Ireland we require that you also purchase implementation services according to the following guidelines:
New Installations
- Minimum two days implementation and training for 1 to 2 users without integration to any other programmes and without migration of data from a previous system.
- Minimum four days implementation and training for sites with 3 or more users and/or sites which require integration and/or data migration.
Upgrades
- Minimum four days implementation and training.
Purchases from a Sage Accredited Business Partner
If you purchase your software from a third party you are responsible for ensuring that your systems meet the ACT! requirements (visit www.sage.ie/support) and that you adhere to the terms and conditions specified by the third party. Additionally, you should confirm with Sage Ireland that the agent is fully trained and accredited to sell the software.
If, at a later stage, you wish to take out a support contract with Sage Ireland directly, we reserve the right to evaluate your installation to determine if the necessary guidelines have been followed and to assess if additional support charges above the standard support contract prices may apply.
Purchases from www.act.com
If you purchase your software directly from the Sage US website, www.act.com, you responsible for ensuring that your systems meet the ACT! requirements (visit www.sage.ie/support) and that you adhere to the terms and conditions specified by www.act.com. If, at a later stage, you wish to take out a support contract with Sage Ireland directly, we reserve the right to evaluate your installation to determine if the necessary guidelines have been followed and to assess if additional support charges above the standard support contract prices may apply.
Purchases prior to this policy
This policy is effective for all ACT! sales from August 1st 2007. All sales prior to this date will be able to avail of a support contract without the above restrictions. |
