Sage e-banking is a free add-on to our Accounting software that allows you, for the majority of the compatible banks*, to download statements directly into your Sage accounts software for reconciliation, to pass payment details electronically - for example, in BACS format to your bank.

How does the Sage e-Banking plug-in work?

Sage creates a plug-in software module thats acts as 'middleware' between your Sage software and the bank's software. This plug-in:

converts informaton between the software into a format that both can understand
interfaces directly with your Sage software
interfaces directly with the relevant bank's internet of PC banking software
